Eddy has been on staff with the Center since 2006 after coming to us as a student intern and continuing as a volunteer, moving into various staff roles. He holds a Bachelor's Degree of Social Work at Radford University. Eddy coordinates the 22nd, 23rd, and 25th Judicial System's court-mediation programs as well as both the mentor program for individuals seeking mediation certification from the Supreme Court of Virginia and the volunteer and intern services programs. Eddy is certified to mediated cases from the General District Court and pursing certification to mediate cases from the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court.
Chrys holds a Bachelor of General Studies degree from Radford University. Pursuing trainings and certification in conflict resolution, Chrys became a volunteer mediator with the Conflict Resolution Center in 1994. Chrys always wanted to pursue mediation as a career and was thrilled to be hired as a staff mediator at the CRC in July, 2008. The job fulfills her passion of making a difference in the lives of people by helping them reach peaceable, workable solutions to their issues. Chrys has three grown children living in or around Washington, DC. Noah is an attorney, Tamlin (son) is becoming an attorney, and Kindle (daughter) is involved in politics through Vote America.
Lisa has been on staff with the Center since 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Lisa loves to organize just about anything, and she enjoys handling the Center's business needs so that other staff members are free to train, mediate, and serve the community. Lisa and her husband Jim have called the Roanoke Valley home since 1992. They are the parents of two teenage children.
Kate, a native of Charlottesville, VA, has been on staff with the Center since 2011. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Warren Wilson College near Asheville, NC. As Youth Education Coordinator, Kate oversees our program of teaching a Conflict Resolution curriculum in Roanoke area schools. She loves working with young people and very much enjoys teaching Roanoke's youth positive ways to resolve conflict. Kate has a passion for training dogs and would one day like to train Service Dogs. She also enjoys crafts, carpentry, and camping.
