Conflict Resolution Center on Facebook

On February 10, 2012, the Conflict Resolution Center will be hosting “A Chocolate Affair” to celebrate and raise awareness and funds for our organization.  The event will be held at the Vinton War Memorial, running from 7 to 10 PM.  Tickets are $40 each or 2 for $75.  We will have the best chocolates, the best wine, the best food, the best live music, and the best prizes and sponsors that the Roanoke Valley has to offer.

We will have hand-made chocolates from Baylee's Best Chocolates on Electric Road in Roanoke.  Bayla, the owner of Baylee's, is Roanoke's only chocolatier and makes the most amazing chocolates.  They will be providing approximately 500 chocolates for this event including solids, butter-creams, and their amazing flavored truffles!  To learn more about Baylee's Best Chcolates,  CLICK HERE.

Chef John Schopp of Center Stage Catering will be providing heavy hors d'oeuvres for the evening.  The menu will include dishes like "Aztec Meatballs with a Rich Sauce of Cocoa, Chili & Cinnamon" and "Warm Caramel Apple Baked Brie in Flaky Puff Pastry with Toasted Almond Praline & Candied Orange Zest".  Center Stage Catering.

Live music will be provided by Sexual Chocolate, a local band that plays classic funk & soul tunes you’ll recognize and that would make James Brown and Marvin Gaye proud.

We are also receiving assistance with our décor and atmosphere from the professionals at The Flower Shoppe On Main in Salem.

A cash bar will also be available for our guests including our featured drink, the Chocolate Martini.  All guests will receive two free drinks with their ticket purchase.
